i really wish the reporter had done his homework a bit better as he would have realized this is a recurring question put to rob throughout the tour which he has answered over & over till he's just out of ideas of how to re-present the basics...
ReplyDeletealso, maybe it's me (a total possibility), but i found cronenberg has come full circle since the interviews in re to the initial filming/advice to the actors, wherein he relates to them that he also doesn't understand the book or characters--to seeming that he has now come to have an innate understanding of everything in regard to cosmopolis AND the minds of the characters.
it would have been more politic of him to allow the cast members question-responses to play out in the answerers due time instead of undermining their right to take their time and even fumble with it until their words fully expressed THEIR thought, which i assume the panel director was asking for.
for me, a little assist could have been given off-mike rather than taking over the questions asked of others....just sayin'!
