Kellan Lutz says growing as a designer is “learning by seeing”, which is why he’s a familiar face on the front row at shows.
The Twilight actor launched Abbot + Main by Dylan George last August, in collaboration with Dylan George founder Daniel Guez.
Kellan is a self-confessed lover of fashion and admitted that turning up at runway shows is a great way to improve his creative skills while at the Salvatore Ferragamo presentation in Milan.
“It’s very important to me, I love asking questions and I get to talk to all these major designers. It’s about learning by seeing,” he told WWD.
Kellan is proud to be rubbing shoulders with the fashion elite at the men’s spring 13 runways. The 27-year-old star hopes to improve his credentials as a fashion designer.
“[I'm] excited to be at the centre of the fashion world,” he gushed.
Kellan – who recently spoke about his less “sexy” Abbot + Main campaign – revealed that he plans to attend a number of other shows in Milan, including Emporio Armani and Roberto Cavalli.
